PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic mitigating the irritation of an ultraviolet-absorber, hardly causing problems of environmental pollution and providing comfortable feeling to the skin. SOLUTION: The cosmetic for sun screen contains one or more kinds of the ultraviolet absorbers, one or more kinds of ultraviolet-blocking agents, and an extract of a fermented product of an unpolished or polished rice with Aspergillus oryzae as essential components. Preferably, the cosmetic for the sun screen further contains an essence of a fermented product of turmeric with the Aspergillus oryzae besides the one or more kinds of the ultraviolet absorbers, the one or more kinds of the ultraviolet-blocking agents and the one or more kinds of the extracts of the fermented products of the unpolished or polished rice with the Aspergillus oryzae as essential components.
