摘要 The invention relates to a distance measuring device, a sensor module and a method for measuring the distance between a vehicle and an obstacle using an ultrasonic transducer. Said transducer comprises an independently self-oscillating cover plate having a surface that is operated as to project sound or receive sound. Both projection and reception operation is brought about using a plurality of lamellae that are coupled to the cover plate and are configured as piezoelectric oscillators. According to the inventive method, an ultrasound transducer of the aforementioned kind is operated as follows: emitting an emission signal via the surface towards the obstacle; receiving an echo signal associated therewith and evaluating the echo signal during a temporal acoustic window in relation to a threshold value whose time course can be modified during the acoustic window according to vehicle data.
