A wall (40) that doubles as a drain pan is provided at a ceiling section of a storage (12) to define a cooler chamber (23), and in the innermost of the cooler chamber (23) is received a cooler (28). A defrosting heater (50) is laid on a body section (52) of a heating plate (51) in a zigzag form, and the body section (52) is installed on the lower side of the cooler (28). A fan installation section (56) is extended, in an attitude where it rises diagonally forward, from the front edge of the body section (52), and an installation section (58) at the head of the fan installation section (56) is fixed to a unit base (21). A cooling fan device (60) is installed on the fan installation section (56). The fan device (60) may also be frosted; however, when the heater (50) is heated in defrosting operation, the heat is transmitted also to the fan device (60) through a heating plate (51), and the fan device (60) receives the heat and is efficiently defrosted. Water produced by defrosting is received by a cooling duct (40) and discharged from a water discharge opening (48).
