<p>Each of the transmission units (5, 6) of the dual clutch unit (1), comprising several sets of gears (20, 21, 22, 23) for the adjustment of the transmission ratio, can be connected to an input shaft (2) by a clutch unit (3). If the gear ratio is changed the torque is switched from one part (5, 6) to the other (5, 6) by a simultaneous addition of the unit (3, 4) not in use before. This emergency reaction is initiated by a control and evaluation device (40), activating at least one of the two units (5, 6) with the associated clutch (3, 4).</p> |
