The invention relates to a digitally controlled oscillator circuit comprising a resonant circuit with the following features: an oscillating element for generating an oscillation with a specific high-precision frequency and a setting device (IWS) that is connected to the oscillating element for modifying the oscillation frequency of the oscillating element. The setting device comprises the following components: a digitally controllable first capacitance bank (KB21), in which a plurality of first setting capacitors are connected in parallel to one another and can be controlled individually in order to set a predefined first total capacitance (Cvcrude); and a fine tuning circuit (FES), which is connected in parallel to the first capacitance bank (KB21) and has a first capacitor (Ca) that is connected in series to a parallel connection between a second capacitor (Cb) and a digitally controllable second capacitance bank (KB22), in which a plurality of capacitors are connected in parallel to one another and can be controlled individually in order to set a predefined second total capacitance (Cvfine).
