A motor controller comprises speed control means (7) for outputting a drive command signal to a motor (1) so as to cause the rotational speed of the motor (1) to follow up a speed command signal according to a differential signal between the speed command signal measured rotational speed of the motor (1) and a filter (13) having a high-frequency region, a low-frequency region and an intermediate-frequency region between the high-frequency region and the low-frequency region. The gain KH in the high-frequency range is greater the gain KL in the low-frequency region. The filter (13) has a phase delay characteristic in the intermediate-frequency region. The speed control means (7) has a proportion control unit (9) for outputting the product of the input multiplied by the proportion gain KP. The filter (13) is so structured that the phase is delayed in a frequency region between the resonance frequency and the antiresonance frequency.
