<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copying machine which allows user's intention to be reflected in a choice between a color print or monochrome print, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: For instance, a set of documents to be copied is composed of six documents 100 to 600 having images thereon, the documents 100, 500, and 600 are color documents and documents 200, 300, and 400 are monochrome documents. Upon receiving an instruction to perform a copying operation for the documents, the copying machine 10 reads the images of all the documents at once, and displays the thumb-nail images G1 to G6 of the respective images. The copying machine 10 allows switching between color printing and monochrome printing in response to the depression of the display areas of the thumb-nail images G1, G5, and G6 on a display section 63, which correspond to the color documents 100, 500, and 600. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
