RADIO COMMUNICATION UNIT AND TRANSMISSION POWER CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure data quality more than desired in whole data groups to be simultaneously communicated in the case of using a transmission power control method where inner loop transmission power control and outer loop transmission power control are simultaneously used.

SOLUTION: Error detecting parts 104-1 to 104-n detect whether error exists in the data block of demodulation data. A target reception quality control part 105-1 to 105-n controls target reception quality at each data group, based on whether the error occurs or not. A maximum target reception quality selecting part 106 selects the maximum value in target reception quality of each data group. A transmission power control command generating part 107 performs the inner loop transmission power control through the use of the maximum value of the target reception quality.
