摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas purification process that can separate and recover acidic gas from a gas mixture in high efficiency with low cost to increase the acidic gas absorption rate per the unit volume of the absorption solution, attain the reduction of the circulated absorption solution and save the circulation energy. <P>SOLUTION: The absorption solution mainly comprising ionic liquid is fed to the upper part of the absorption column 13 that is maintained at prescribed temperature and pressure and a mixed gas including acidic gas and non acidic gas is fed to the lower part of the absorption column 13 to allow the mixed gas to contact with the absorption solution thereby separating the non acidic gas from the acidic gas and recovering the non acidic gas from the absorption column 13. The absorption solution that has absorbed the acidic gas is fed to the upper part of the regeneration column 16 that is kept a higher temperature than that of the absorption column 13 under a pressure same as or lower than that of the absorption column 13. Whereby the acidic gas is allowed to evolve and separate from the absorption solution and is recovered from the regeneration column 16 and simultaneously the absorption solution is also regenerated.
