PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exhausting device for an amplifying element array in which heat pipes corresponding to the heat generating distribution of microwave amplifying elements are selected, consequently heat is efficiently transported and a cooling part is easily arranged, and to provide a microwave transmitter using the device. SOLUTION: The heat exhausting device for the amplifying element array uses the plurality of heat pipes 24a-24f to exhaust the heat which is generated by the amplifying element array 22 where the microwave amplifying elements 20 are two-dimensionally arranged, wherein the heat pipes extend from the outer side of the amplifying element array to a center position on a plane where the microwave amplifying elements are two-dimensionally arranged.
