PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a sintered magnet while effectively removing cutting powder produced by cutting a molding. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the sintered magnet includes a stage of pressurizing and compacting powder for the sintered magnet charged in a cavity in an orientating magnetic field; a stage of cutting the pressure-compacted body GB obtained by the pressure compacting; a cutting powder removing stage including a step of vibrating cutting powder sticking on the compact body GB by applying an AC magnetic field to the cut compact body GB from an air-core coil 32, and a step of blowing nitrogen gas to the vibrated cutting powder from a nitrogen gas supply nozzle 34; and a stage of sintering the compact body GB after the cutting powder removing stage.
