PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for managing a traveling object for outputting a message only to a plurality of vehicles selected by a simple operation, and for reducing a management center side load. SOLUTION: This traveling object managing method for transmitting a message from a base station to a plurality of traveling objects is controlled to display at least traveling object information acquired from a traveling object and a map on the display screen of the base station, and to designate a predetermined range from the displayed map, and to select a plurality of traveling objects existing in the designated range, and to successively transmit the message to the selected traveling objects.
