PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform both excavation work and crane work in a height-limited narrow job site, in the so-called low empty head type excavator having the low total height used when performing the excavation work. SOLUTION: This excavator is composed of a vehicle body 2, a traveling body 3, a revolving body 4, a swivel base 5, a mast 6, a lifting body 7, a rotational driving device 8 and a crane arm 9. The swivel base 5 revolvable around an eccentric shaft B eccentric more than a revolving shaft A of the revolving body 4, is particularly arranged on the front side of the revolving body 4. The low lifting height mast 6 is longitudinally tiltably arranged on this swivel base 5. The crane arm 9 for separating its tip and the center of the rotational driving device 8 by a predetermined angleθaround the eccentric shaft B, is furthermore arranged in an upper part of the mast 6.
