The device (10) has first and second housing parts (12,14,11) and at least two electrical component supports (24,22,32) with an electrical contact surface(30). At least one electrical contact bridge (44) is arranged on the first housing part, which interacts with the contact surface in the ready made state of the housing parts and forms an electrical connection between the component supports. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing an electrical drive unit.
