The computer may control the machining of all the individual parts for a piece of furniture and controls the assembly of the parts. Each part and the assembly sequence is specified by data stored in a memory. Customers may specify individually crafted pieces of furniture by modifying the stored data running the program. The cost of the piece of furniture may also be calculated. An independent claim is also included for a computer program product.
