<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device which can realize stable light emission from a semiconductor light emitting element and a prolonged life. <P>SOLUTION: A lead frame has a mount lead frame 3 for carrying a plurality of semiconductor light emitting elements 10 thereon, and also has a relay lead frame 4 for relaying bonding wires 11 for electrically connecting the light emitting elements 10 aside from the mount lead frame 3. When the mount lead frame 3 is exposed externally from a main body 2 made of a reflective resin or is formed as an electrode, Joule heat from the light emitting elements 10 can be emitted from the exposed mount lead frame 3.
