<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of ID identification means such as a reader/writer to reduce construction cost of a system when performing detection of positional relation and identification of a mobile object such as a ball or a player in a sport scene on a wide athletic field. <P>SOLUTION: A wireless IC tag of any of target objects 51-53 or 6 is made to transmit a target object ID signal specific to the target object, and an arbitrary antenna among a large number of antennas disposed inside a soccer field 4 is selectively connected to the reader/writer 3.
