<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact, light and low-costed emergency shut-off device for a gas outlet capable of coping with emergency besides a fire and surely operating. <P>SOLUTION: The emergency shut-off device for a gas outlet is provided with a main body 8 having a plug 10, to which a socket 6 is connected freely to be disconnected, in a tip part 9 thereof and for closing a gas flow passage of the plug 10 by removing the socket 6 from the plug 10, an engagement releasing part 11 turnably provided in a side part of the main body 8 to remove the socket 6 from the plug 10 by pushing a plug 10 side end part of the socket 6, an operation part 4 capable of operating turn of the engagement releasing part 11 from outside of a casing 2 housing the main body 8 and the engagement releasing part 11, and a gas generating unit arranged inside the casing 2 on a main body 8 side to release the socket 6 in an plug 10 side end part thereof from the plug 10 by pushing the engagement releasing part 11 when operating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
