PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular instrument with improved visibility. SOLUTION: The visible component of the vehicular instrument contains a flat sheet 54 having first and second surfaces 56, 60. The first and second surfaces 56, 60 are positioned a predetermined thickness T of the flat sheet away each other. The flat sheet 54 has a plurality of through holes 68 formed so as to extend between the first and second surfaces 56, 60 in its thickness direction. Then, a mark 30 corresponding to a distinguishable notation in the visible component is provided on one side of the first and the second surfaces 56, 60. A light source 44 arranged closely to the flat sheet 54 emits beams passing a plurality of the through holes 68.
