PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip-type aluminum electrolytic capacitor where breakage of a lead wire is prevented by suppressing rocking of an insulating panel even when there is a gap between a capacitor main body and the insulating panel. SOLUTION: The chip-type aluminum electrolytic capacitor consists of a capacitor main body obtained by pulling out a pulled out lead wire lead out from a capacitor element from the lead wire insertion of an elastic sealed port body, and housing the element and the elastic sealed port body in a metallic case and sealing it; and the insulating panel provided with a put-through part for putting the lead wire through and grooves in which the lead wire are bent and housed, and abutting on the opening end of the capacitor main body. The capacitor has at least one protrusion formed on the abutting surface of the insulating panel on the opening end of the capacitor main body, and has auxiliary electrodes which cover the grooves of the insulating panel and are fitted into the rear surfaces of the grooves in the shape of U to be fixed to the insulating panel.
