摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an after image produced on a liquid crystal display device, fabricated by using a substrate on which alignment control protrusions are formed by using a negative photosensitive resin composition, when left standing for a long time in a state with voltage applied thereto. SOLUTION: The substrate constitutes the liquid crystal display device with a liquid crystal interposed between itself and the opposing substrate, and has at least the alignment control protrusions, wherein the alignment control protrusions are formed of the negative photosensitive resin composition containing a resin having at least both phenolic hydroxy group and ethylenic unsaturated double bond group. Furthermore, the alignment control protrusions are formed of the negative photosensitive resin composition containing a resin in which a methacrylic group or an acryloyl group is substituted for a part of the phenolic hydroxy group.
