PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for consistently manufacturing a diffusing film in which diffusibility is varied depending on the incident direction of light beams, spread of the diffusion can be controlled, and a seamless roll configuration is provided. SOLUTION: The following processes are continuously and successively conducted, i.e., a base film is coated with a photosensitive material, the coated base film is pasted together with a master diffusing film, a speckle pattern is transferred and recorded on the photosensitive material layer by exposure to parallel light beams, the master film is peeled off and quickly heated, exposed and fixed. Thus, the diffusing film having angular dependency on the light scattering characteristic is continuously and efficiently manufactured. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
