PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of an exterior wall material capable of attaching the exterior wall material without cutting it even when intervals between columns are different to improve efficiency of work at construction work site and reduce loss of the material. SOLUTION: This mounting structure of the exterior wall material is formed by erecting a plurality of columns 1, attaching an exterior wall substrate material 2 to each column 1, and attaching a plurality of exterior wall materials 3 to the exterior wall substrate material 2 by a fixing device 4 in a mutually adjacent manner. A lateral stretching member 5 for a substrate is provided by stretching it between the exterior wall substrate materials 2 and 2. A gasket base 7 is attached to the lateral stretching member 5 for the substrate by matching it with a position of a joint channel 6 formed by adjacent exterior wall materials 3, 3.
