PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular body structure capable of improving the load resistance of a center pillar. SOLUTION: A vehicle 1 is equipped with a frame element 2, and the frame element 2 has a front pillar 3 and the center pillar 4 extending in a vehicular height direction of the vehicle 1. An instrument panel reinforcement 11 extending in a vehicular width direction of the vehicle 1 is united to the front pillar 3. On a front side door attached to the front pillar 3 through a door hinge 14 so as to freely open/close, a door impact beam 17 receiving a load from a side of the vehicle is provided. At one end of the door impact beam 17 is fixed to the door hinge 14. A load transmitting member 20 is united to the inside surface of the front side door, and a load transmitting member 12 is united to an end portion of the reinforcement 11. The load transmitting members 20, 21 are members for transmitting the load received by the door impact beam 17 to the reinforcement 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
