METHOD FOR PRODUCING PLANT BODY INHIBITED IN DEHISCENCE OF ITS ANTHER, PLANT BODY OBTAINED BY THE SAME AND UTILIZATION OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a plant body in which dehiscence of its anther is inhibited. SOLUTION: The plant body inhibited in the dehiscence of its anther is produced by introducing a chimeric gene of a gene encoding a transcription factor promoting the transcription of a gene associated with the dehiscence of the anther and having an MYB domain with a polynucleotide encoding a functional peptide converting the transcription factor to a transcription inhibitory factor into plant cells for expressing a chimera protein obtained by fusing the transcription factor with the functional peptide in the plant cells. The chimeric protein inhibits the expression of the gene associated with the dehiscence of the anther, and the plant body inhibited in the dehiscence of the anther is produced.
