A network of roads especially autobahns (10-20) may pass through an urban area with a large number of radio cells (A-J) for a mobile telephone network. Some individual cells may be divided up into smaller cells (a-n). The mobile telephone installed in the road vehicle recognizes which cell it is in and sends an appropriate radio signal to a central control computer.
