Method of analog-to-digital conversion of a high dynamic input signal (Sa) comprises applying it to at least two channels (K1-n), amplifying (V1-n) all signals by appropriate channel factors and A-to-D conversion of each channel. Signals are limited to avoid an over-control of the A-to-D conversion used (ADC1-n). An independent claim is also included for a device for the above process.
