<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method in which a positive electrode plate 1, a negative electrode plate 2, and a separator 3 are impregnated with a gel electrolytic solution 12 for a short time in the manufacturing method of a large-sized control-valve type lead-acid storage battery 19. <P>SOLUTION: The gel electrolytic solution 12 is manufactured by agitating and mixing a gel dispersed liquid 10 and a dilute sulphuric acid electrolytic solution 11. The manufactured gel electrolytic solution 12 is weighed and supplied from a gel electrolytic solution supply tank to a vacuum tank 14. The vacuum tank 14 and the control-valve type lead-acid storage battery 19 are coupled by a pinch valve 22 and a safety valve part 8. The gel electrolytic solution 12 in the vacuum tank 14 is impregnated into the positive electrode plate 1, the negative electrode plate 2, and the separator 3 in the inside of the control-valve type lead-acid storage battery 19 by exhausting and reducing pressure of air inside the vacuum tank 14 by using a vacuum pump 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
