<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen producing apparatus capable of stably generating hydrogen without generating carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide as by-products and without requiring much electric energy. <P>SOLUTION: This hydrogen producing apparatus is equipped with a reaction vessel 10 provided with a metal storing part 17 to store a metal generating hydrogen by the chemical reaction with water, a water inlet 11 to introduce water into the reaction vessel, a vaporization space part 18 to vaporize water introduced from the water inlet and feed the vaporized water to the metal storing part, a vaporization promoting means 50 installed in the vaporization space part to promote vaporization of water by enlarging the surface area of water, and a heat transfer plate 30 connected to the vaporization promoting means, absorbing heat in the reaction vessel and transferring the heat to the vaporization promoting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
