<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve starting performance under low temperatures at low power consumption, while enhancing safety and reliability. <P>SOLUTION: This is a temperature-elevated device which heats and raises temperatures of a cooling medium and an oxidizer gas before they are introduced into a fuel cell stack 1 by the reaction heat obtained through a chemical reaction of calcium oxide as an exothermic agent with the water as a reactant, and introduces the temperature-elevated cooling medium and the oxidizer gas into the fuel cell stack 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
