PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system utilizing a fluid sensor which is inexpensive, simple, and not easily broken down.
SOLUTION: When there is no water in a passage pipe 47, since a detector 48 is positioned at the bottom of the passage pipe 47 because of a specific gravity difference between itself and fluid, light L emitted from a light emitting part 50 permeates the passage pipe 47 and reaches a light receiving part 51, and a signal is exchanged. On the other hand, when water flow in the passage pipe 47 satisfies a specified flow rate, the detector 48 moves to the downstream side of the passage pipe 47 and stops at the position of a detector receptacle 49. Therefore, since light from the light emitting part 50 is intercepted by the detector 48, light does not reach the light receiving part 51, and exchange of the signal is interrupted. If a detecting signal is not emitted from a photocoupler, the output of a reforming water pump 21 is increased for a fixed period of time, and if there is no change in the flow rate, the system is stopped to prevent a fuel cell 9 from being deteriorated.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
