<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack in which shifting of each composition member is surely prevented and small-sizing of the whole fuel cell stack is achieved without impairing the effective area of the fuel battery cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell stack 10 is formed in polygonal pillar shape as a whole by arranging current collectors 13, 13a, insulating plates 14, 14a, and end plates 15, 15a toward outside at the both ends of a fuel cell laminated body 12 in which a plurality of fuel battery cells 11 of polygonal shape are laminated. A load support member 20 in which a corner covering portion 21 of a cross-sectional nearly dog leg shape is formed so as to straddle over the ridgeline R of a corner part 10 is provided along the outside of the corner part 10a of this fuel cell stack 10, and a load holding means 22 for holding the load impressed between the end plates 15, 15a at both ends is provided at this load support member 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
