INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD AND ITS RECORD READING OUT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium which has two recording layers and is good in a record reading out method.

SOLUTION: A first information layer 11 and a second information layer 20 are provided. The first information layer 11 contains a first recording layer 4 for causing a reversible phase change between a crystalline phase and an amorphous phase by irradiation with laser beams or application of electric energy. The second information layer 20 contains a second recording layer 14 which causes a reversible phase change between the crystalline phase and the amorphous phase by irradiation with the laser beam or application of the electric energy. Then, the first recording layer 4 comprises a first material, and the second recording layer 14 the second material, that is, the first material and the second material are different.
