PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate inconvenience in sending electronic mail informing transmission of printing data simultaneously with transmission of the printing data to a called party through a separate procedure, when directly transmitting printing data to the printer of the called party.

SOLUTION: A file address specification module 21 specifies a first address for sending the printing data. A file transmission function module 23 transmits the printing data to the first address specified by the file address specification module 21. An electronic mail address specification module 22 specifies a second address for sending electronic mail informing transmission of the printing data; and an electronic mail transmission function module 22 transmits the electronic mail to the second address specified by the electronic mail address specification module 22.
