<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time to opening by making an expansion amount of a skin material 19 itself small until a fragile part 19a is opened by a deployment pressure in an energy absorption device at a side part of a vehicle, provided with an air bag unit 21 at a neighborhood to a side part in a seat covered with the skin material 19, in which the fragile part 19a openable by receiving the deployment pressure of the air bag 24 is provided on the skin material 19. <P>SOLUTION: First and second low expansion members 39a, 39b for suppressing the skin material 19 is expanded before the fragile part 19a is opened by the deployment pressure of the air bag 24 are provided and the opening of the fragile part 19a is closed by sewing the first skin material and the second skin material by a first sewing member.
