<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate for a voltage deficiency due to dead time accurately and stably. <P>SOLUTION: In the inverter controller, a dead time compensating section 30 for compensating a voltage deficiency due to dead time being formed when a pair switching element of each phase constituting an inverter 1 is turned on by a PWM conversion means 18 comprises a limiter function 31u, 31v, 31w for limiting with upper and lower limit current values by varying with slow gradient in synchronism with the positive/negative variation of each phase current command value u<SP>*</SP>, Iv<SP>*</SP>, Iw<SP>*</SP>being inputted, a first subtraction element 32u, 32v, 32w for subtracting the each phase limiter function output by the limit current value, a gain regulation function 33 for regulating the output from the first subtraction element of each phase with a predetermined gain coefficient to take out the dead time voltage compensation amount of each phase, an operating means 34a, 34b, 36 for adding and averaging the output from the each phase gain regulation function, and a means 35u, 35v, 35w for subtracting the average value obtained from the operating means from the output of each phase gain regulation function to take out the dead time voltage compensation amount of each phase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
