<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video signal processor capable of obtaining an appropriate still image from a video signal subjected to a squeeze processing. <P>SOLUTION: The video signal processor is equipped with: a conversion part 15 which judges whether the video signal has been subjected to the squeeze processing from an inputted video signal and aspect information SA showing the aspect ratio of the video signal and performing reverse squeeze processing of the specified video signal when it is judged that the squeeze processing is performed to convert the video signal into a video signal of a still image of specified image size; and a still image recording and reproduction part 14 which records the video signal of the still image converted by the conversion part 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
