<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal apparatus which can be easily assembled and can be made large-sized by supporting and reinforcing a surface light source and an optical sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display apparatus includes a liquid crystal display panel 5 for forming an image, the optical sheet 10 provided at the rear of the liquid crystal display panel, the surface light source 20 separately provided at the rear of the optical sheet to be separated from the optical sheet and emitting light to the optical sheet, and a supporter 7 provided between the optical sheet and the surface light source to support the optical sheet and the surface light source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
