PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin fine particle having a uniform shape and a sharp particle size distribution in an environmentally friendly method, particularly in a method contributing to resource-saving. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the resin fine particle comprises using a dispersion comprising a dispersing medium and, finely dispersed therein, a dispersoid containing a raw material for manufacturing the resin fine particle, where the dispersion is discharged in a liquid droplet shape to give particulates having a particle size distribution of two peaks, which is subsequently subjected to a classification treatment to give a resin fine particle having a particle size distribution of one peak. A first liquid droplet and a second liquid droplet having a smaller particle size than the first liquid droplet are discharged by one discharging operation. A plurality of particles originating from the dispersoid and constituting the particulates are melt-bonded and subsequently classified. The melt-bonding is carried out at 50-200°C.
