PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam driven rotary flowing lantern which rotates gently on its own and floats on a water surface by obtaining light and power by a single energy such as a candle. SOLUTION: This is the steam driven rotary flowing lantern in which a nearly one rolled coil part composed of at least one metal pipe is mounted on the upper part of the center of a floating stand floating on the water surface, in which a heating means such as the candle is mounted on this floating stand so as to become the lower part of this coil part and in which the coil part and the cover of this coil part are heated from the lower part, and in which discharge ports positioned at mutually 180°in which both ends of this metal pipe face the same circumferential tangent direction is formed in the bottom face of the floating stand.
