PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing program, an image processing apparatus, and an image processing method for preventing a pseudo contour caused by a difference from glossiness between different ink materials. SOLUTION: Image information comprising RGB values is converted into CMYK components on the basis of a value of MaxK set in advance. In this case, the value of the MaxK is set so that a difference from the glossiness due to a difference from ink materials between a K component made of a pigment and a CMY component made of a dyestuff is not caused. Thus, even when a PC print or a media print is used to print out image information comprising the CMYK components, no pseudo contour due to the difference from the glossiness is caused and it is possible to print out a natural color image.
