PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio transmitter which can obtain a good up-conversion characteristic, further enlarge a radio transmission band, and deal with a plurality of modulation wave signals. SOLUTION: This radio transmitter 9 includes input signal level regulators 203a and 203b arranged between an input terminal IP and a synthesizer 204a. Accordingly, when an input signal 5e is up-converted, before it is combined by the synthesizer 204a, the level of a modulation frequency signal 71a and the level of a reference signal 71c can be separately independently regulated by the input signal level regulators 203a, 203b and a reference signal level regulator 95. For this purpose, the sum of the level of the modulation frequency signal 71a on the input signal and the level of the reference signal 71c can be made constant, and the level ratio of the modulation frequency signal 71a and the reference signal 71c can be made constant.
