PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce parts count and assembly man-hours in a method of continuously manufacturing a coil unit which is constituted by winding a coil 3 around a bobbin 1. SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing the coil unit repeats a first step of engaging with the bobbin 1 a first terminal 32 provided at a winding beginning position of a wire, a second step of forming a coil 3 by winding the wire around an outer surface of the bobbin 1, and a third step of providing a second terminal 33 at a winding ending position of the wire to engage the second terminal 33 with the bobbin 1. In the third step, the wire is turned up even times, a solder covering portion is formed by covering the turned up portion with solder, the solder covering portion is cut at an intermediate position and is bisected, one solder covering portion connected with the bobbin 1 is engaged with the bobbin 1 as the second terminal 33, and another solder covering portion 36a is engaged with a new bobbin as the first terminal 32 in the following step.
