METHOD FOR PRODUCING MULTI-PLY PAPER AND MULTI-PLY PAPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a multi-ply paper by laminating a plurality of wet paper layers and giving a multi-ply paper having sufficiently improved interlaminar strength with a small amount of chemicals. SOLUTION: A paper strengthening agent is sprayed from a sprayer 7 to the laminating part of wet paper sheets 6a and 6b. The interlaminar strength is sufficiently improved especially by using an acrylamide-acrylic acid copolymer as the paper strengthening agent and spraying only a small amount of the agent at a rate of 0.02-0.06 g/m2, more preferably 0.025-0.05 g/m2in terms of solid weight.
