<p>The structure of an oxygen electrode which can be formed at such a low cost that the oxygen electrode can be disposable. An oxygen electrode (2) is used for measuring the dissolved oxygen in a liquid culture medium, and comprises an electrode parent material (10) and a surface metal layer (13) composed of any one of Au, Pt or Ti covering the surface of the electrode parent material (10). In particular, when the surface metal layer (13) of Au is formed on the electrode parent material (10) composed of copper by electroplating, a nickel layer (11) is deposited on the surface of the electrode parent material (10) by electroplating or the like. Subsequently, the Au layer (13) is deposited on the nickel layer (11) by electroplating.</p> |
