<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syringe pump and a transfusion method by the syringe pump not lowered in transfusion accuracy even if performing transfusion operation greatly exceeding a set flow rate immediately after starting transfusion. <P>SOLUTION: The syringe pump is provided with a pressing means for delivering a medicinal solution by moving a pressing element of a syringe at the speed of the set flow rate; a timer means for measuring elapsed time from the start of transfusion; and a control means for controlling the pressing means to move at the speed to be greater than the set flow rate until the lapse of a primary time, to move at the speed to be greater than the set flow rate in a reverse direction to a delivery direction until the lapse of a secondary time after the lapse of the primary time, and to move at the speed of the set flow rate after the lapse of the secondary time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
