<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method and a controller of a motor in which switching from start to phase control operation can be carried out stably and efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: In the control method of a motor where the phase difference between the target current and voltage is determined as a target phase difference for a motor 200 based on load information on the counterpart side 210 being driven by the motor 200, and phase control operation is performed such that the phase difference between the current and voltage detected from a current being supplied to the motor 200 has a predetermined difference from a target phase difference, applying voltage is controlled at the initial stage of starting such that an initial current being supplied to the motor 200 has a predetermined current level and forced operation of the motor 200 is performed. Based on the current phase information of the detection current during forced operation, load on the counterpart side 210 is estimated and employed as the initial value of load information during phase control operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
