<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of an information recording part to enhance quality of a card without increasing the cost of the card. <P>SOLUTION: This card 20A is provided with a transparent or translucent card base material 21 capable of transmitting light, and the machine-readable information recording part 22 formed at a predetermined position on the card base material 21, having light transmittance lower than that of the card base material and formed with a predetermined pattern. The card 20A is used for inspecting a sample and equipped with: an inspection area 23 formed at a central part on the card base material 21 as an opaque area incapable of transmitting light and used for inspecting a sample; and a blood accumulation part 24 formed on the inspection area 23 as a sample mounting part for mounting the sample at a certain position.
