<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device of which the luminance in a light transmissive part and that in a light reflective part are averaged out without increasing processes. <P>SOLUTION: A color filter, which is formed on the liquid crystal side surface of one substrate out of respective substrates disposed via a liquid crystal, is formed in such a way that at least a part of its periphery is run on with a material layer in the light transmission part and at the same time in the light reflection part it is not formed as its periphery is run on with the material layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
