<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adhesive composition for an optical member, which is an acrylic adhesive to be coated in a water base as an environmental countermeasure and has excellent durability, removability and stress relaxation property, an adhesive layer for an optical member formed by the adhesive composition for an optical member, an adhesion type optical member having the adhesive layer and an image display device using the adhesion type optical member. <P>SOLUTION: The adhesive composition for an optical member comprises 100 parts wt. of a (meth)acrylic polymer (A) that contains 0.2-2 wt.% of an unsaturated carboxylic acid as a monomer unit and is obtained by emulsion polymerization, 0.1-20 parts wt. of a (meth) acrylic polymer (B) that contains 1-7 wt.% of an unsaturated carboxylic acid as a monomer unit, has a carboxylic acid equivalent higher than that of the (meth) acrylic polymer (A) and 2,000-50,000 weight-average molecular weight and 0.01-1 part wt. of a silane coupling agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
